This fabulous tale was collected from an old Orkney woman by anthropologist, Mr DJ Robertson, in the nineteenth century. It's a magnificent story for girls; the hilarious porridge fairies are totally bewitching! Filmed in the atmospheric locations of the Dartmoor National Park and picturesque Bickleigh Castle, Peerifool evokes a world of old fashioned story-telling in the rich tradition of our national heritage.
